Death of Neem Karoli Baba

Neem Karoli Baba was going from Agra to Nainital. Then his health deteriorated on the way, due to which he had to get down at Vrindavan station. He was immediately admitted to the hospital. Baba consumed Tulsi and Ganga water and gave up his life on 11 September 1973. There is a Samadhi temple of Neem Karoli Baba in Vrindavan.

Baba Neem Karoli was a worshiper of Hanumanji.

Devotees and their followers considered Baba Neem Karoli to be the incarnation of Hanuman ji. But Neem Karoli Baba himself also worshiped Hanuman ji. He also built many temples of Hanuman ji. Whenever any devotee would touch the feet of Neem Karoli Baba, Baba would refuse to touch the feet and would say that if you have to touch the feet, then touch the feet of Hanuman ji. Even though Neem Karoli Baba is not alive today. But his devotees follow him with devotion. Baba always remains present among the devotees in his supernatural form.
