To visit Baba Neem Karauli, go to Kathgodam in Uttarakhand. Regular trains of Northern Railway run to reach here. From here, one can travel two hours by bus or car to reach Kainchi Dham Ashram. You will get bus tickets for Rs 1400 to 1500. Along with this, you will also get hotels in your budget according to the season. You can also go directly to Kainchi Dham or come to Kainchi Dham from Nainital. The journey from Nainital to Kainchi Dham can be covered in just one hour.

Apart from this, you can go to Haldwani of Uttarakhand by bus. From there you can go to Kainchi Dham by bus or sharing taxi. You can go to Kainchi Dham by sharing 200 rupees and taking a taxi for around 600 to 700 rupees. You will find hotels nearby here.

Neem Karoli Baba died at approximately 1:15 AM in the early morning hours of 11 September 1973 in a hospital at Vrindavan, India^[11][12] after slipping into a diabetic coma. He had been returning by night train to Kainchi^[13] near Nainital, from Agra where he had visited a heart specialist due to experiencing pains in his chest. He and his traveling companions had disembarked at Mathura railway station where he began convulsing and requested being taken to Shri Dham Vrindavan.^[14][15]
